Success is Not The Key To Happiness. Happiness is The Key To Success
I like this quote “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.” Because it is so true.
I urge you to spend some time thinking about this, I’ll give you some pointers to get you started meditating on this powerful thought.
Research shows that happiness comes from inside of you, not from the outside. I don’t have this research on hand, but it is also common-sensical.
Some children living in an impoverished country are as happy or happier than a child in the U.S. who has everything it could want. I am sure that you’ve caught yourself on occasions feeling pure happiness and content for no material or external reason.
When you connect with yourself, know who you are, and feel content, you then become happy. It is that simple. Buying stuff, partying, and seeking to find external things to make you happy works but it only works for a short time. Unless your happiness springs from the inside of you it will never last.
It is also known that a positive state of mind leads to improved health, confidence, efficiency and it also shines through you for people to notice, thus your chances of success become more real when you have a positive state of mind.
It is also known that being positive and optimistic attracts positive things to you, it also attracts positive people to you. Being negative and down only brings more negativity, it’s like a cycle that need to be stopped.
Do not seek happiness in material things, in money, in a job, in people.. Because once you get what you wanted to be happy you find that the happiness never lasts so you go on seeking more in hopes of being happy again.
Once you discover yourself and your inner power, your inner source of satisfaction and content, and once you learn how to love who you really are, you then gain a constant sense of happiness that comes from the inside, that is long lasting and is absolutely FREE. This kind of happiness is totally yours and no one can take it away, you also cannot buy it.
How else does happiness bring you success?
