All Healing Is Self Healing – Regardless Of Healer Or Method

May 12th, 2010 Ethan Z No comments

kinesisHere’s some food for though, did you know that all (I mean every single) healing that you experience is 100% your body healing itself? medicine, doctors even religious and energy healers, they do not heal you, they assist your body in healing itself.

It’s nice to see this quote from Master Lin (i.e. Chunyi Lin), a QiGong Master and founder of the Spring Forest QiGong technique, basically validating this point, that all healing is self healing      :-)

Hello my dear friends! It is very important to know that a qigong master never heals- the qigong master only helps and assists. The person has to heal themself.

By Chunyi Lin (posted May 11, 2010)

Master Lin was named 2010 Qigong Master of the Year at the 12th World Congress on Qigong/TCM in San Francisco, California on April 24, 2010.

Blue Light Shown to Destroy Staph

May 7th, 2010 Ethan Z No comments

blue-lightIn the January 31, 2009 issue of ScienceDaily, it was mentioned that blue light literally can kill antibiotic-resistant bacteria. This article is amazing not only because it discusses the effectiveness of electromagnetic waves in killing bacteria but in that it shows how ordinary visible blue light is what is killing the bacteria.

This article reminded me of some of the work that Royal Rife did with waves that killed germs and of course of the Spectro-Chrome color therapy as well. I attached a screen shot of the article to the right (click to enlarge image)

Two common strains of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, commonly known as MRSA, were virtually eradicated in the laboratory by exposing them to a wavelength of blue light, in a process called photo-irradiation

“Blue 470-nm Light Kills Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in Vitro,” the authors exposed bacterial colonies of MRSA to various doses of 470-nm light, which emits no UV radiation.

In the current study, ‘Blue 470-nm Light Kills Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in Vitro,’ the authors exposed bacterial colonies of MRSA to various doses of 470-nm light,” and they destroyed 90.4% of the staph.

“It is inspiring that an inexpensive naturally visible wavelength of light can eradicate two common strains of MRSA. Developing strategies that are capable of destroying MRSA, using mechanisms that would not lead to further antibiotic resistance, is timely and important for us and our patients,” says Chukuka S. Enwemeka, PhD, FACSM, Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal and first author of the study.

Find the full article at ScienceDaily here: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/01/090129131839.htm

Here, “Photo irradiation” just means shining light on something. “470-nm blue light” just means pure blue without contamination of red or violet. Blue light falls within the range of 440-490 nm. It’s nothing unusual or fancy.

A “higher dose” means staying under the light for longer.

I’ve read that one may feel withdrawn or reclusive after being under blue light for more than an hour.

Spectro-Chrome Color Therapy and Dinshah Ghadiali

let-there-be-light

I recently came across an article posted on the World Research Foundation website  titled “Let There Be Light; The Healing Art of Spectro-Chrome (Dinshah Ghadiali)”.  This article is a very good introduction to what is known as color therapy or more accurately “Spectro-Chrome Color Therapy”.  Below I posted a caption of the first couple paragraphs with a link at the bottom so you can read the full article.

If you have no idea what color therapy is, or if you know what it is but would like to learn about its history and why it’s not used more widely you should read the article.

The article will talk briefly about Dinshah Ghadiali, the founder of Spectrom-Chrome color therapy and his battle at the NY Supreme Court and with the FDA despite the favorable testimony of doctors that used his healing system.  The article’s author discusses a personal healing story that utilized color therapy, and a story about the use of color therapy with a pet.

Enjoy:

The effects of color and light on the human system are subjects of continuous scientific investigation. The research and experiments of the late Dinshah Ghadiali proved that the body could be tuned or adjusted from disease to health by systematically exposing it to colored light. An example of this effect is found in the medical practice of treating premature babies with Bilirubin Syndrome (jaundice) by exposing them to blue light, although the methodology is somewhat different from Ghadiali’s.

Dinshah Ghadiali was born of Persian descent in Bombay, India, in the year 1873.  At the age of eleven, he became assistant to the Professor of Mathematics and Science at Wilson College in Bombay. In his early career, Dinshah was Superintendent of Telephone and Telegraph for Dolphur State in India.

The year 1897 marked a permanent turning point in his medical career. The niece of a friend was suffering from mucous colitis. The attending physician was using the then accepted drugs, to no avail. Having read Edwin S. Babbitt’s work, The Principles of Light and Color, and Blue and Red Light, by Dr. Seth Pancoast, Dinshah was aware of the theory of chromopathy (healing with colored light).Dinshah treated the young woman according to Dr. Babbitt’s technique. The light from a kerosene lantern, filtered through an indigo colored glass, shone on her. Milk was placed in a bottle of the same color, exposed to the sunlight, and then given to her to drink. Dinshah writes, “The urgent straining to evacuate, which occurred perhaps a hundred times a day, abated to ten after one treatment; after three days she was able to get out of bed.” This case was the beginning of Dinshah’s intense investigation into the effects of colored light on the human organism.

Clinical Spectro-Chrome Color Therapy Suppressed by the Special Interest?

May 1st, 2010 Ethan Z No comments

colortherapyWhile reading about color therapy, I came across this article and found it worth sharing. It’s a good intro to, and gives you some history on, what is called Spectro-Chrome color therapy. It talks a little about what seems to be suppression by some interests and how, despite suppression, color therapy is being used today.

Despite what anyone may think, in my personal opinion (and I suspect this is the opinion of so many people around this planet,)  an adult person has the right to treat one’s self or loved ones with ANY kind of therapy they choose. This is a matter of human rights, freedom of choice, freedom of expression and freedom of religion as well. In the U.S we expect such freedoms.

If you or a loved one is suffering from some sort of dis-ease, by all means continue any conventional treatment that you’re using, seek help everywhere you can, and should you choose to utilize some sort of  ‘alternative therapy’ that is your right. You’re an adult, do your research, reach your conclusion and make up your own decisions.  The key here is doing your research to arm yourself with knowledge.

At the end of this post I share with you very valuable resources should you decide to learn more about color therapy, these were suggested to me by an authority in this field.

Article Title: Clinical Spectro-Chrome Color Therapy Crushed by the Medical Mafia

If someone told you he or she cured his or her cancer with color therapy, would you believe it? You may understandably categorize it as new age nonsense. Well, it appears that it’s for real and not just for cancer. Colored light therapy was originated mostly by an American physician, Dr. Edwin Babbitt, in 1878, and developed scientifically into Spectro-Chrome therapy for virtually any malady by Dinshah Ghadiali, who had immigrated to New York from India during the early 20th century.

Despite the harassment and law suits in Dinshah Ghadiali’s adopted home state of New York, he was able to continue practicing, training, and selling the equipment needed until around 1946. He was supported by AMA practicing physicians who were using his colored light therapy successfully, even in extreme cases that medicine of the 1920’s through early 1940’s could not handle.

What You’re Not Supposed to Know

It was not until 1946 through 1948 that Spectro-Chrome therapy was crushed by the Medical Mafia’s use of the court system in New Jersey. Dinshah’s therapy had been getting too popular among health professionals and ordinary people. So a rigged court and judge had their way. His and others’ equipment was destroyed in a publicized spectacle similar to the old FBI raids on bootleggers during prohibition. Dinshah Ghadiali was fined $20,000 and placed on probation for five years.

How could something that doesn’t work be the target of such a destructive campaign from the Medical Mafia? Consider that there are auras, and the colors indicate particular subtle energy fields capable of influencing organs in different ways. Very few humans, maybe many cats, can see auras. But can you see the energy coming into your WiFi computer or cell phone? Yet, an effect is achieved on a material object. So much for this crude analogy of color or vibrational therapy basic theory.

Colored light energies are always present and do no harm, unlike electro magnetic radio frequencies which are invisible and often harmful. Even the UV rays of sunlight initiate the manufacture of Vitamin D3 in our bodies. It seems this is all easily understandable. But when colored light and water is introduced as physiological and psychological therapy, well, the woo-woo attitude tends to set in!

Yet both the Navy and NASA have been experimenting with color therapy in limited fashions. During the past several years, there has been the medical practice for treating premature babies with Bilirubin Syndrome (jaundice) by exposing them to blue light, although the methodology is somewhat different from Ghadiali’s.

Ellis Peterson, a retired math professor and electronics engineer who has been studying alternate healing treatments for over 30 years states, “I have personally studied Dinshah’s Color healing methods and I have one of his original Color projectors. I have used his color filters and projector for over 20 years and have found it’s curative, healing powers to be beyond words.”

Alternative Healing With Color Therapy

April 28th, 2010 Ethan Z No comments

colortherapyI don’t know about you, despite my interest in alternative health modalities, I went for years without hearing about the use of color therapy until recently. To be honest, I may have come across it but quickly discounted it as not real, too simple, can’t work etc.. That is until recently thanks to a friend. When I took a more serious look at color therapy, what I found was both fascinating and eye opening. I have finished reading my first book on the topic and look forward to learning more.

Luckily, there are many resources available where you can learn more. The resources below were suggested to me by an authority in this field.

If you want to start learning about color therapy, I was told that all one needs to do was read these couple books:

  • Spectro-Chrome Metry Encyclopedia
  • Let There Be Light: The Healing Light of Spectro-Chrome

Other books that are related:

  • Secret of Life
  • Waves That Heal, The
  • Red and Blue Light (Orig published 1877)
  • New Light on Therapeutic Energies – Mark Gallert

Many of these books can be found (at a very affordable cost) here The World Research Foundation (WRF)

Amazon may have some of these books but they may be more costly on Amazon than through the WRF.

NASA Using Color Therapy

April 23rd, 2010 Ethan Z No comments

colortherapyThis article about a NASA technology utilizing LED lights to help plants grow in space and humans to heal on Earth. Results are remarkable in healing wounds, this device is small, light weight and doesn’t consume much battery power due to the use of energy efficient LED.  The light seems to be “increasing energy inside cells“. It was found that “skin and muscle cells grown in cultures and exposed to the LED infrared light grow 150 to 200 percent faster than ground control cultures not stimulated by the light”

This is an AMAZING article, about a technology, tested and proven to heal people. Definitely a main-stream project, including laboratory and human trials, approved by the U.S. FDA and funded by a NASA Small Business Innovation Research contract.

This article is from the year 2000,  yet I don’t see main stream doctors and hospitals using this color therapy technology to heal wounds people today, how come this device or similar ones are not being sold in stores?

The article mentions that Dr. Whelan’s findings will be summarized in upcoming issues of Space Technology and Applications International Forum 2001 and in The Journal of Clinical Laser Medicine and Surgery.

I have more questions:

Was this study mentioned in these journals? Would the FDA approve a device like this to be sold to the public? What would the AMA think of this device?

If you have read about this study somewhere else or have further info please leave a comment. Thanks!

Title: NASA Space Technology Shines Light on Healing

Doctors at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee have discovered the healing power of light with the help of technology developed for NASA’s Space Shuttle. Using powerful light-emitting diodes, or LEDs, originally designed for commercial plant growth research in space, scientists have found a way to help patients here on Earth.

Doctors are examining how this special lighting technology helps hard-to-heal wounds, such as diabetic skin ulcers, serious burns, and severe oral sores caused by chemotherapy and radiation. The project includes laboratory and human trials, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and funded by a NASA Small Business Innovation Research contract through the Technology Transfer Department at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.

“So far, what we’ve seen in patients and what we’ve seen in laboratory cell cultures, all point to one conclusion,” said Dr. Harry Whelan, professor of pediatric neurology and director of hyperbaric medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. “The near-infrared light emitted by these LEDs seems to be perfect for increasing energy inside cells. This means whether you’re on Earth in a hospital, working in a submarine under the sea or on your way to Mars inside a spaceship, the LEDs boost energy to the cells and accelerate healing.”

Dr. Whelan’s findings will be summarized in upcoming issues of Space Technology and Applications International Forum 2001 and in The Journal of Clinical Laser Medicine and Surgery. Other related peer-reviewed journals have published articles on Whelan’s medical research with light-emitting diodes.

Dr. Whelan’s NASA-funded research has already seen remarkable results using the light-emitting diodes to promote healing of painful mouth ulcers caused by cancer therapies such as radiation and chemotherapy. The treatment is quick and painless.
