Blood Test Results – Sept 2008
Thanks for your patronage. Article continues below: |
I had mentioned that my doctor ran a (number of) blood tests after my first visit to the hospital complaining about the back & neck pains and constant headaches and fatigue, basically I was falling apart and becoming dysfunctional.
In this article I will discuss the blood results quickly moving on to make a pledge online to become more disciplined. I close with something my mom and grandmother always said to me.
Well, the results came back yesterday and everything is normal – thank goodness!
I have had a significant improvement with my headaches over the last couple weeks that I am very happy about, but my neck pain remains a nagging issue; I guess this one will take longer to rehabilitate. I also am still having issues managing my stress and sleeping well at night. I am very excited at the results, I enjoy my breathing and imagery exercises a lot.
It may have helped my blood test that my diet has always been better than the average American and that I’m only 12 pounds over my optimal wight, but that is not enough. I’ve talked about the water I drink here; About 50% of what I eat is organic, I eat little meat, I’d estimate my chicken and beef consumption at 1lb a week, often less.
I try to avoid chemicals, pesticides and herbicides, hormones, antibiotics, artificial colors, unhealthy snaks, and everything that was made in a laboratory. Not only in my water and food but also in my vitamins.
I had stopped taking my regular multi vitamin pills for a few months due to my worries about their purity and content. I read somewhere that while these vitamin pills are made in the U.S.A some ingredients actually come from China. You know what comes from China, only tainted foods, led, and poisons. I avoid things made in china, especially things I ingest as if they were the plaque.
last week, I found an organic multi vitamin for men, I’ve used it for 3 days now, I can’t tell what health improvements I’ve seen because I am doing other good things like meditation, guided imagery, etc…
I have many goals, some of them are to eat more organic, more unprocessed, un-cooked (raw food), vegetables, fruit, and more living food! No matter what the cost is, my health comes first and foremost.
I neglected my health and myself long enough, putting my job(s), my home business, my mortgage, and putting people ahead of my own interests, not due to a personality weakness but due to my ambitious personality, pursuit of money and security, perfectionist nature and my selflessness.. I am more aware of this process now. I needed a reminder; I’ve seen the results on my general wellness and was awoken.
It was obvious that I was falling apart due to my ‘invisible’ mentality, because I was living a better life before it degraded over the last two to three years. I am excited at the improvements to come.
My Pledge
I pledge be more organized – I shall make a schedule that comprises of meditation, guided imagery, and physical exercises and stick to it. I will write about the exercises, mental and physical here for you to benefit from — given the insane cost of seeing a doctor! Prevention is more important than ever!
I pledge to not become addicted to blogging, too much of it is not healthy and I’m known to dedicate a lot of effort at something I like and not knowing when to stop for rest! This has to end.
I am taking charge of my life because, like both my mom and grand mom used to say, “If you don’t have your health what good is the money?”.
I will write more in the future on vitamin pills, liquid vitamins, fish oil, eating meet, what it means to be free, etc..
… Just wanted to say that the blood work came back clean! ~ Awesome!!! ~
