This article is a product review for a guided imagery CD called “Relaxation & Wellness” by Belleruth Naparstek that I purchased from Health Journeys. Catalog ID: 2135

This CD is good for for people experiencing stress, to help with general anxiety, to promote a feeling of peace, and heigten the feeling of love and safety.

Relaxation & Wellness by Belleruth Naparstek CD Cover

I quote from the product website:

This guided imagery is for facing any stressful situation, to help with general anxiety, or to just promote feelings of peace, balance and optimism. The images heighten feelings of love and safety, pump up serotonin and promote an energized calm.

It is also the first half of a research-proven imagery protocol for post traumatic stress, which yielded dramatic outcomes for survivors of trauma. (The second half was our Healing Trauma imagery.)

It retails for $17.98

My Opinion:

I highly recommend this for people who need to relax, feel safe and loved, and to escape from a crazy stressful day.

My Reviews:

09/22/2008: I’ve listened to this twice so far with very surprising results. I like the voice, the pace and the imagery. I give this 5 stars.

09/25/2008: Listened one more time, this CD helped me create a visual place, a safe place in my mind. Every time I meditated with the CD I brought this safe place to my consciousness, I love doing this now. I can call on to this safe place at any time, and it comes to my mind. What is really fascinating is the immediate tingling and goosebumps (life energy) that flows through me, as soon as I visualize my safe place I get filled with this energy. Awesome. Well worth the money.

I will write future reviews on this CD if needed.
