Wondering how to be an optimist? Someone with constant positive outlook, dreams and success? This quote puts it nicely:
“I have become my own version of an optimist.
If I can’t make it through one door, I’ll go through another door – or I’ll make a door.
Something terrific will come no matter how dark the present.”

Our present day society and culture, ask people to learn in a certain way, hold certain jobs, take exams in a certain way, and those that dont fit or are unwilling to comply with the statuesque are considered dysfunctional or lacking… Wrong!

“A man too busy to take care of his health is like a mechanic too busy to take care of his tools.”
A Spanish Proverb
Below I quote a few paragraphs that are very true that a friend of mine who healed himself from cancer naturally and now helps hundreds of people, Dr Charles Morris said on his website www.distance-healer.com. The below are timeless words of wisdom from an experienced person. I often say very similar things to my clients, as truth is universal.
Read it and see if you agree, see if you can relate.
What is really frustrating to me is that even when I spend years researching things and put it all up on my website for free, no one takes the time to really study (or even read it thoroughly), and they then ask questions that are already on the website (i.e., they’re too busy to learn how to not die and won’t do the work necessary to maximize their health, including reading free information that took thousands of hours to compile and then is given to them for free. Most complain that blended vegetables don’t taste good, or they don’t like to take a lot of supplements (but they have no problem spending lots of money taking all kinds of trips to remote islands, drinking booze and eating bad food with the money that they claim would be “wasted” on supplements to fight their cancer with). Some actually ask if they were to take just one supplement (and not change their diet or lifestyle), if they can beat terminal, stage 4 cancer! When I tell them that they have to do some work to get better, they go back to the chemo and radiation doctors, and I hear soon afterwards that they’re dead.
Some people are determined to die in order to somehow “get even” with someone else – these people cannot be helped, no matter how good a protocol or doctor is; they give up the “will to live” and hasten their own death. Furthermore, no doctor wants to get into the middle of it and be blamed for it.
Also, if you believe someone or something has the power to kill you (as in voodoo), then you’ve empowered it to kill you and it may, unless you take the power to kill you away from it. The converse is also true. There is a book about 50 cancer survivors that illustrates this: each beat cancer in a different way; the only thing they had in common was the fierce belief that life was worth living and that they were going to beat cancer. Make sure that you WANT to live: there’s a huge difference between merely being afraid of dying and embracing life, loving life and wanting to live. Also, don’t give someone else the power to take away your will to live; if you’re not happy with your life, CHANGE IT! You don’t have to die to escape from it.
Bad habits, diet and lifestyle (and often a bad attitude/mindset and neglect of your spiritual self) lead to cancer by activating certain inherited genes that pre-dispose you to getting cancer. The good news is that 80% of these genes can be either activated or de-activated. What is necessary is to fully commit to doing what is necessary to get better and stay better. Once you beat cancer (for the rest of your life), in order to keep cancer from coming back, you’re going to have to keep from falling back into your old habits, because that is how you ended up getting cancer in the first place.
Your belief system can severely limit your available options, many of which are viable ones. Sure, there are quacks out there, but not every non-chemo and non-radiation treatment is quackery; follow the money, and try to step back and see outside of the box. I definitely recommend reading “Questioning Chemotherapy” by Ralph Moss: cancer is actually a cry from your body for help because it cannot tolerate your toxic diet and/or lifestyle – it is not a cry for you to flood it further with more toxins from chemo and radiation. The odds of beating it are MUCH greater when a person starts the protocol before they’re dying. Chemo works in less than 2% of cancers — and of those 2%, more than half of them get secondary cancers caused by the chemo. According to Dr. Blaylock, “It’s important to remember that secondary cancers are not recurrences of a previous cancer but entirely new cancers caused by the treatment. Most often, the secondary cancer is much more resistant to treatment than was the original cancer. Biopsies (including needle biopsies) also spread cancer in more than half of the cases.”
He also says on dosage:
Many people don’t seem to understand that the dosages of therapeutic supplements are critical, and that you can’t just take a few of the supplements along with chemo or radiation and increase your chances of success — the supplements try to build your body and immune system up and the chemo and radiation try to tear it down. I still take 175 pills/capsules each day, drink/chew two 10 ounce glasses of raw, organic vegetable juice along with a perfect diet, avoid toxic brands of cosmetics, cleaners, air fresheners, deodorants, soaps, etc., and make time to study what I need to know in order to survive (i.e., take charge of my health), not just blindly follow what some doctor tells me to do (i.e., delegate responsibility to someone else) — it all boils down to whether a person REALLY wants to live and is willing do what it takes, or not
Some colleagues have told me that it’s human nature to value something relative to its cost, and that people would value this information more and do more to help themselves if I were to charge them for it, but I want to help people who are hurting financially and not add to their burden of cancer.
One thing that might be confusing you is that therapeutic dosages of supplements (including vitamins) are a lot different from preventative dosages (RDA minimums — the amounts below which certain deficiency diseases appear) and have different effects; that’s why dosage is very important.
“And a Man sat alone, drenched deep in sadness. And all the animals drew near to him and said, “We do not like to see you so sad. Ask us for whatever you wish and you shall have it.” The Man said, “I want to have good sight.” The vulture replied, “You shall have mine.” The Man said, “I want to be strong.” The jaguar said, “You shall be strong like me.” Then the Man said, “I long to know the secrets of the earth.” The serpent replied, “I will show them to you.” And so it went with all the animals. And when the Man had all the gifts that they could give, he left. Then the owl said to the other animals, “Now the Man knows much, he’ll be able to do many things. Suddenly I am afraid.” The deer said, “The Man has all that he needs. Now his sadness will stop.” But the owl replied, “No. I saw a hole in the Man, deep like a hunger he will never fill. It is what makes him sad and what makes him want. He will go on taking and taking, until one day the World will say, ‘I am no more and I have nothing left to give.” Native American Wisdom
Comment:
I agree with this quote. However, I must say while many seem to have these gaping holes that they seek to fill (usually with food, habits or material items) some of us do not have the hole. The hole can be plugged, it can be filled. We are whole and complete as we are, we are divine and holy, all of us. Many do not know that. I wish everyone would have the insight and openness to see this on their journey, as this is my truth.
I suggest the following to help you fill that hole: Just Be, Meditate, Experiment with hypnosis, Spend time with nature, in nature, admire the beauty in nature, be alone, explore your own mind/body .. Reconnect with the spirit of nature, feel it, hear it, experience it, enjoy it! It is always there, just as the “answer to fill the hole” is, very close that many can’t see it. This answer is not in words, not in data, not even in seeing. It is so basic, emotional knowing in your gut, that many first need to slow down and reconnect with themselves before they can suddenly find this hole simply gone. The answer is always there, we just think it’s not because it is not in words or science, it is very personal and organic, so close. You just have to look inside of you, and be. When this hole is filled, then everything inside and outside will look alive, more colorful, more holy, you start to see things (everything) differently in some way.
In being, present, silent, alone, i nature, in the moment, you can see that you are whole,

The Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself
Franklin D. Roosevelt

We have to learn to be our own best friends because we fall too easily into the trap of being our own worst enemies.
~Roderick Thorp, Rainbow Drive
.
Who’s Roderick Thorp? What’s Rainbow Drive? I dunno. (Maybe you do? Clue me in if you feel like doing so.) Call me ignorant. And INSPIRED! Cuz this quote is loaded- with the key to your life being much, much easier.
Be easier on yourself.
We are programmed and bombarded daily with negative images, “news”, and feedback about ourselves. So it’s no wonder we run loops of negative self-talk over and over, throughout the day, most of which, is unconscious. Until it’s not.
CATCH YOURSELF- notice when you are saying something negative about either yourSELF or about your LIFE and say “stop”. If you want to add some extra breaking-power, use an EFT/Tapping technique, where you take your index and middle finger, and tap just below your eye, on the top edge of your cheekbone, and say “I release this thought about myself. I completely accept myself, just as I am. All is well.” Then take a few deep breaths and just relax.
You are gonna have to live with yourself for the REST of your life, so you might as well become the best of friends with your own worthy self. If you think you are boring, mean, or not a good friend to others, then start by being open to feeling more excited, kind, and a good friend to yourself. Remind yourself throughout the day that YOU CAN DEPEND on you.
We are here on Earth to be in relationship to other people- to receive help, guidance, love, and companionship from others. This is a huge playing field in which we learn to expand ourselves into grander versions of ourselves. But you can also expand yourself ALL ON YOUR OWN! And you do that by FEELING GOOD.
So start feeling better- about yourself and your capacity to handle WHATEVER life brings your way. Feel better about your ability to be loving, and helpful- seek opportunities to do so, so you can be amazed by your experiences. Feel better about your life, no matter WHAT is going on (or NOT going on), but tapping that point below your eye and affirming that life can get better, and you are learning to be your “bestest” friend in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD.
Then others will do the same. And you don’t even have to “try”- you don’t have to convince them of anything, or say or do anything to help them change. It will be AUTOMATIC. People may start to watch you, look at you, and wonder “what is WITH you?” and you may reply by saying “myself. I am with me. I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” And you’re here to ROCK the world! To shake it back awake- Our brothers and sisters are in need of love and this gentle reminder. Let yourself remember just how amazing you are.
I love you!
Ponder on this for a few minutes,

Success is not the destination, success is the journey.
The scientist does not study nature because it is useful, he studies it because he delights in it, and he delights in it because it is beautiful. If nature were not beautiful, it would not be worth knowing, and if nature were not worth knowing, life would not be worth living.

Hint: the answer is “No”
All life is biology. All biology is physiology. All physiology is chemistry. All chemistry is physics. All physics is math.
Dr. Stephen Marquard
I ask, then, WHAT is Math??
It is worth remembering that our galaxy alone has billions of Earth-like planets, and these earths are “[not only] probably habitable but they probably are also going to be inhabited”
.
Galaxy has ‘billions of Earths’
There could be one hundred billion Earth-like planets in our galaxy, a US conference has heard.
Dr Alan Boss of the Carnegie Institution of Science said many of these worlds could be inhabited by simple lifeforms.
He was speaking at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Chicago.
So far, telescopes have been able to detect just over 300 planets outside our Solar System.
But, based on the limited numbers of planets found so far, Dr Boss has estimated that each Sun-like star has on average one “Earth-like” planet.
This simple calculation means there would be huge numbers capable of supporting life.
“Not only are they probably habitable but they probably are also going to be inhabited,” Dr Boss told BBC News. “But I think that most likely the nearby ‘Earths’ are going to be inhabited with things which are perhaps more common to what Earth was like three or four billion years ago.” That means bacterial lifeforms.

Other Earths
So, after having compiled a bestiary of exotic planets, many the size of Jupiter and locked in a deadly embrace with their star, what are the chances of the planet-hunters identifying rather smaller, sedate rocks upon which life might actually get the chance to evolve? It’s not as if these planets are likely to exist in minute numbers: current estimates [Using the Drake Equation] border on there being 30 billion terrestrial planets in our Galaxy alone [this is an article from 2002]. The odds of finding such planets lengthen a lot when one considers that these planets would have longer years and cause much smaller wobbles in their star’s position.
The odds shorten again the longer we look for these planets. Hot Jupiters tend to get found simply because the radial velocity method is most sensitive to their kind. It’s only now that smaller planets are being found, although none of them are likely to harbour life. Adopt a different method of detection, and we might start to see terrestrial planets, instead of inferring their presence.
This is precisely what the Terrestrial Planet Finder (TPF) telescope is designed to do. This instrument comprises four space-based telescopes flying in formation. Their light is combined in such a way as to vastly increase resolution. One of the indicators that TPF will be looking for is the presence of elemental oxygen in a planet’s atmosphere. All oxygen in our atmosphere is there because of photosynthetic organisms: plants and cyanobacteria. Oxygen is therefore a key signature of life6.
TPF is not due to fly until 2015 at the earliest. In the meantime, Earth-based telescopes will get bigger and better, and astronomers will be able to observe for longer wobbles than they currently can. Even if we can’t see the little green men yet, we’ll have a much better idea of where they might live.

I recently said this to a friend and thought it was worth sharing right here:
The meaning you give to anything determines the experience you get from it
Indeed

Here’s some food for though, did you know that all (I mean every single) healing that you experience is 100% your body healing itself? medicine, doctors even religious and energy healers, they do not heal you, they assist your body in healing itself.
It’s nice to see this quote from Master Lin (i.e. Chunyi Lin), a QiGong Master and founder of the Spring Forest QiGong technique, basically validating this point, that all healing is self healing
Hello my dear friends! It is very important to know that a qigong master never heals- the qigong master only helps and assists. The person has to heal themself.
By Chunyi Lin (posted May 11, 2010)
Master Lin was named 2010 Qigong Master of the Year at the 12th World Congress on Qigong/TCM in San Francisco, California on April 24, 2010.

To love is to recognize yourself in another. The others “otherness” then stands revealed as an illusion pertaining to the purely human realm, the realm of form. The longing for love that is in every child is the longing to be recognized, not on the level of form, but on the level of Being.
When another recognizes you, that recognition draws the dimension of Being more fully into this world through both of you. That is Love that redeems the world.
Love is the recognition of oneness in the world of duality.

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you … See More spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you’ve got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, It is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway.

Title: Breathing
by William H. Bates, M.D.
MANY patients with imperfect sight are benefited by breathing. One of the best methods is to separate the teeth while keeping the lips closed, breathe deeply as though one were yawning. When done properly one can feel the air cold as it passes through the nose and down the throat. This method of breathing secures a great amount of relaxation of the nose, throat, the body generally including the eyes and ears.
A man aged sixty-five, had imperfect sight for distance and was unable to read fine print without the aid of strong glasses. After practicing deep breathing in the manner described he became able at once to, read diamond type quite perfectly, as close as six inches from the eyes. The benefit was temporary but by repetition the improvement became more permanent.
At one time I experimented with a number of patients, first having them hold their breath and test their vision, which was usually lower when they did not breathe. They became able to demonstrate that holding their breath was a strain and caused imperfect sight, double vision, dizziness and fatigue, while the deep breathing at once gave them relief.
There is a wrong way of breathing in which when the air is drawn into the lungs the nostrils contract. This is quite conspicuous among many cases of tuberculosis.
Some teachers of physical culture in their classes while encouraging deep breathing close their nostrils when drawing in a long breath. This is wrong because it produces a strain and imperfect sight. By consciously doing the wrong thing, breathing with a strain one becomes better able to practice the right way and obtain relaxation and better sight.
The habit of practicing frequently deep breathing one obtains a more permanent relaxation of the eyes with more constant good vision.
If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.
